Cheap Gillette Fusion Power Razor Blades

Over the past few years Gillette has come out with new razor blades designs that feature more and more blades in each new version. In the beginning it was just one blade.  Then competition grew and the new concept was twin blades or two blades.  After that it was the biggest invention - 3 blades - with the Mach 3.  Now, we are on to the 4 blade razor - the Fusion razor. Are these really that special and should you buy one?

Fusion Razor Blade Review

Before we start, you have to get one, and that is where the challenge starts because of the cost.  The razors themselves sell for about $3-4 a piece.  The handle itself sells for about $5-10.  Those are the cheap things.  It’s the razor blade cartridges where they make their money.Buy them cheaply so you can get a close shave.

I would recommend buying them on eBay.  That’s where I’ve bought 40 Fusion razor blades and 40 Mach 3 razor blades before.  Those 40 Mach 3s lasted almost 2 years.  I bought the Mach 3s for a little over $40 and the 40 Fusion’s for $54 including shipping.  Make sure you find out what the shipping charges are before you buy them because that can turn your good deal into a not so good deal.

So here’s my razor blade review: The first time I used the Fusion razor, I noticed that I only had to make one pass and my skin was smooth.  I did not have to go over my face several times to get them smooth.  There were no nicks and cuts and it gave me a smooth shave.  It was a close shave too.  My face felt smooth.  And my girlfriend liked it too.

If you buy them at a discount where I recommend then I would buy them.  Pretty soon we'll be at 5 blades and that's when it's going to start getting a little humourous.
